Buff Away Dead Skin Cells and Wrinkles with Microdermabrasion

Microdermabrasion is becoming a popular skin care technique for both men and women to smoothen their skin.

Essentially, during this procedure, tiny rough grains are applied to "rub" against the skin to remove the surface layer of the skin.

When this happens, our brain "thinks" that the skin is being damaged, and rushes to replenish the skin with new, healthy skin cells.

As a result, minor skin imperfections like fine wrinkle lines and blemishes are diminished, and the skin appears smoother and clearer.

Do take note though, that the skin might swell during this procedure, and can last anywhere from one hour to a couple of days.

Also, since moisture is usually also stripped from the skin temporarily, it is important to moisturize the skin after treatment.

If money is not an issue, you can seek professional treatment that costs approximately a couple of hundred of dollars per session.

If you'd prefer to do it at home, there are always home treatment kits that allow you to do just that. These costs typically less than $100.

Which is more effective? Well, of course with a professional dermatologist, he/she is should be able to produce good results.

Still, with some practice & following of simple instructions, there's nothing stopping you from getting the same results at home.
