Yoga originates from India where it is very popular as it provides a fool proof way to a healthy body and mind with the help of muscle stretching postures called asanas. There are a huge number of asanas, each one of them specifically focusing on some aspects of body function and subsequently exclusion of all diseases from the body. You will find that just 20 minutes everyday of yoga can make a world of difference to your health and your mental well-being.
People are normally discouraged from taking up yoga classes because they fear their inability to work themselves into the postures that yoga dictates. Contrary to popular belief however, yoga is not as difficult to perform as you would think. 4. Another great benefit that has been attributed to power yoga is its ability to boost memory and power of concentration which can be an excellent boon for all students.
5. All yoga exercises and particularly the power yoga improve your posture and remove all traces of anxiety and stress from your body and mind.
There are many, many other benefits that one can draw from these ancient Indian exercises, provided you practice it every day without fail for a minimum of about 15 to 20 minutes at least.
